The project stems from the owners need to have a place to host guests outside the main house.

The extension project is adapted to the current urbanization of the plot, respects and leverages all the accesses and interior circulations paths, placing the new house in the back of the plot.

The new projected volume is designed as a background curtain of the current garden next to the main house, creating a protected green courtyard shared by the two buildings.

Enlargement arises with two goals, first get a dwelling separate from the main house and on the other hand give a big porch protected from the wind.

The living area is conceived as an open-plan with a closed service area along the East facade. Uses has been distributed a lounge area, a kitchen dining room and a bedroom with bathroom. In addition, and under the common roof  a porch and a warehouse-facilities small piece on the back.

The intervention is also distinguished by an obsessive search for the conditioning of the designed spaces with passive strategies, trying that all the rooms enjoy natural light, ventilation and thermal comfort.
